Breakfast at The Inn of the Last Home

Kirsten whispers under her breath a small prayer for the soul of the leader and afterwards, almost melodicly, says, "they told me he was bad, but I knew he was sad, with an arrow I felled the leader of pack."

Kirsten moves so she is the furthest away from the rukus but able to arrow the leader. She casts hunters mark on the leader and arrows him.

20 to hit (12 or 15 dmg)

With a disappointed look, Dwalin shakes his head. "You go on and call both the dragonborn and me stupid? I'll have you know I'm smarter than you obviously are! Calling me stupid is a very stupid thing to do, I'll have you know!"

He casually steps over his toppled chair, towards the closest enemy ((So right below nr.3)) and swings his warhammer at his head while yelling: "You don't want to resolve this peacefully? I'll make you resolve this peacefully!"

Duncan sees the girl vanish through the door, still not sure what to make of that strange white light.  Then he notices one of the men in armor is coming to attack him!  He starts to viciously taunt his attacker

You look like the armpit of an unshaven...

but cuts off when he gets close.  As the man in armor nears, he kicks his chair a him, trying to avoid his swing. Duncan pivots around the chair he kicked, trying to get a clear shot at the enemy, and attacks with his hoopak

Kohak, irritated that it's come to this, hastens forward with the quarterstaff she was attempting to make a second rain blocker with. She starts an attack on the closest (non-dwarf) man in her path patting Dwlain on the shoulder on her way there...

Kirsten sighs and thinks, 'as things so often do, this has escalated pretty quickly.'  Kirsten snaps the bolt that is protruding from her shoulder in half and looks around to sees that Ava, as cunning as she is, has already found shelter behind the bar. She scans for her new Kender friend and sees he's surprisingly an able fighter for someone so jovial, but can see he is not equipped to take the onslaught he's been given.

She grabs another arrow from her quiver, breathes deep, moving her hunter's mark to the grunt attacking the kender and let's loose.

13 hit / 6 or 13 dmg

Kohak, filled with fear and with her hand over her wound tries her hardest to move away from Morbius back to the corner of the room she originated from.

Duncan is reeling from the hits he took from the grunt. Under the table Duncan kicks at the grunt to avoid his next attack. After the grunt's attack Duncan jumps out from under the table and goes on the offensive, swinging his hoopak at his foe. After his furious attack, scambles back under the table in order to avoid being stabbed again.

Ava tries once more to hop over the bar to shank the creep that tried to hit her.

Feeling confident that the guy is bleeding out, Ava steps on his body to help out the shiny lizard attacking the leader.

With a loud oomph, Dwalin takes in some mean hits.

"I'm already peaceful, ya lily livered lout! It's you who's gotta become peaceful!"

With a big swing, he lets his warhammer sing the hymn of peace.

Enraged by subpar human’s verbal and physical attacks, Ty’garn wildly swings his blade.

The man next to Moribus becomes scared.  As he turns to run away, Moribus slashes him with his longsword, dealing necrotic damage.

Moribus then turns to the man in the bottom right of the room, casts Hexblade's Curse on him, jumps onto the circular table near him, then jumps down, charismatically swings his longsword down onto the man from above.

Seeing the dragonborn go down, his slayer now aiming at Ava, and noticing he's not bogged down by some bozo anymore, Dwalin runs over to face the leader. As he passes two tables, chairs fly backwards in his wake. He reaches Ava's side and lays his hand on her arm for a moment, sliding one half of a Berranor symbol onto her while muttering a few barely intelligible words.

((Casting Warding Bond on Ava. She gets a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws, and has resistance to all damage. All damage she takes, Dwalin takes as well))

Oh, he's a dragon!

Now that Ava is close enough to see the dragon crumple to the floor, she wonders why she ever thought he was a lizard. But, she can't be impressed with his shiny scales for long because Ava realizes she has to now fight the leader alone. She reaches for her largest sword and swings at the leader, hoping to draw blood.

Kirsten, annoyed that someone was able to get close enough to wound her with a sword, drops her bow and pulls out her rapier. She moves her hunter's mark to him and attacks.

This may be the most annoyed Kirsten's been in a long time, and is evident in the force she uses to puncture the man... (nat 20 roll)

Duncan sees the grunt go down, with an arrow sticking through his throat, relieved he's not still under attack.  He looks around to see who shot the arrow at his attacker, and then realizes it had to be Kirsten.  He notices another grunt running toward him, who seems to be scared by something happening on the other side of the inn, but then glances to see an enemy attacking Kirsten.  Duncan springs into action to help the elf.  He jumps up from under the table and leaps at the grunt, furiously flailing his hoopak at the back of the grunts head.

Moribus sees the leader knock Ty unconscious and becomes visibly angry.

"What do you have against Warlocks pal? You'll think twice about doing that again after I'm through with you!" shouts Moribus as he vaults over the bar counter and attacks the leader from behind with his longsword.

Kohak grimaces at the pain and the shame of not looking like a weak dwarf. She steadies herself and raises a finger at the leader casting True Strike hoping to get a glimpse of his defenses.

Moribus attempts to revive Ty, but nothing happens.  

"Call a doctor", he shouts.

Dwalin kneels down next to Ty, seeks out the worst of wounds and lays his hand upon it. He mutters a short prayer and within a moment his hands glow brightly. The wound shines with the same radiance as Dwalin's hands before it closes up.

Ty'garn bolts up and yells,

you're stupid!

He sees that he's on the floor and there's dead bodies strewn about.  

Ha ha!  I was right, this is a group of vicious loonies.  Who's the sick sonofabitch that killed the stupid human?  I'm buying you a round!  Tika, one ale for the slayer.

Ow, my head feels like a hundred pounds.

Ty'garn moves over to the leader and starts inspecting his armor and belongings. He removes the man's splint mail and inspects it.

Oy! Tika! This is some good armor. Bring this to a smithy and you could probably get about 100 gold for it. How about I give it to you to square my tab, maybe pay for a few more meals with meat, and to help with the damage. That's more than fair.

Taking the armor off, Ty'garn notices a tattoo on the man's wrist.

Hey, anyone here recognize this tattoo? I know it's a trademark of what is essentially a tech company. You know, one of those places that make all kinds of gadgets.
